Sunday good morning
Good morning all, raining here at the moment but hopefully will clear soon.
An easy day planned for today, just a walk around the Major Oak in Sherwood Forest with the dogs then settle down with the papers for a couple of hours and maybe a film this afternoon.... perfect.

Good morning BarryI have seen the Major Oak its all held up by iron braces.
My husband took me to see it he was born and raised near Sherwood Forest.
I must say the forest didn't look too chippy with a lot of dead trees - due to storms at some point I understand - but it was winter and it was FREEZING !!!
Robin Hood would have needed much more than tights.

Morning all.What a gorgeous pup...look at those ears!!
Veg prepped for tonight's roast dinner, cauli cheese defrosting, and in a couple of hours will make my way to allotment for our Produce Show. Not going too early, to avoid being roped in to help out!! Shall make my excuses I needed to get ready for my holiday, lol. I want to take the case to the coach station tomorrow for overnight storage. It means I can take my time with it, and find a step free access station near Victoria, then get a bus rest of the way.
Hope the weather stays dry now, but what a nice lot of rain we had yesterday. We needed it.
