Mass produced coffee and doughnuts. Not for me thanks.

I drink Kenyan coffee mild and acidic , I have yet to see it served in any restaurant.

Interesting Lizzie, I know several people will love this move. Not a huge coffee drinker myself but the occasional treat is nice, I'm a bit of a costa fan they do a lovely caramel latte.

I love going out for coffee but I wonder whether Tim Horton's will be any different to Starbucks, Costa, etc. If I'm out of town I tend to favour the chains because I know the standard. If closer to home I use the local cafes or garden centres as I've tried them out.

Re: Tim Hortons expanding in England, Scotland, Wales

We have a Tim's right up the road and I just never really developed a taste for the place. But one day I was in the mood for clam chowder and a blueberry doughnut. Our location had no clam chowder on the menu and no blueberry doughnuts.

No blueberry doughnuts at a doughnut shop? Really?

I haven't been back

I really don't think Tim Horton's is all that special. Panera - pretty much the equivalent to Pret A Manger - is much better.
