I heard this on the news and thought it rather odd as no child was reported missing

Maybe it was the childs parents who picked him up and he shouldn't have been on the bicycle ...

I really hope this turns out to be something innocent...if the child has gone missing then his parents must be in pieces and out of their minds with worry...scenarios like this very often dont have a pleasant outcome sadly...the more people that are alerted to this incident the better ,more eyes watching and on the look out the better...
I pray that he's found safe and well all the same

It's all very odd you would think if it was the parents they would speak up to stop the investigation I thought, but that no child has been reported missing either is strange.

Really hope it ends well.

This seems to have gone quiet ,has there been any up date on the story,? Maybe the boy was just being naughtyand didnt want to get in the van with his parent

Apparently the bicycle had been there for days and was nothing to do with any boy.
It has been suggested the boy was just being picked up by a parent .

Doesn't matter, the lad's life is more important than money and anyway they would still be getting paid if they were in the canteen drinking tea.
