Bank holiday

Bank holiday last of the summer thundering toward us, where has the year gone this one always makes me wonder ?

Hope everyone has a good one we are off to the caravan for the extended weekend, so won't be around until Tuesday.

Hoping it's not too hot as we have a walk planned but can't do it with the dogs if he weather is too warm.

Are you all looking forward to it ?

Mine will be the same as always - decorating. I can see an end in sight though.

It's good when you see the light at end of the tunnel with a project, hope you get it finished soon, you can enjoy it then.

I don't look forward to bank holidays now I'm retired, I don't like the disruption from routine! Also, living in a holiday resort, everywhere is packed and the roads are busy so I hibernate for a few days !!

I'm just thankful for the extra day off work. Some of us are still at work sadly.
Best day for me will be Saturday and the Rugby League Challenge Cup final. My team, Hull FC are at Wembley this year against Warrington, so I'll be cheering them on (albeit in my local pub quaffing copious real ales no doubt).

Yes the break from work is much needed for many I think. Have a great weekend floydy and hope your team wins !

Yes, Hull FC have never won the cup at Wembley, despite having been there many, many times. Just bad luck I reckon.
They've played extremely well this season and are top of the Super League, so fingers crossed, we'll do it. Just wish I could have been there!
