Re: Code A113

This has just reminded me of a little trick I used to do on my General Arrangement drawings. I always used to draw somewhere a little matchstick dog cocking his leg on some vital piece of equipment. Some of the fitters noticed this and whenever a new drawing hit the shop floor that was the first thing they looked for. CAD ruined that idea of course and I don't suppose any of them will exist today.

Oh thank you for that my husband noticed it ages ago, his aspergers coming to the fore again, we had no idea what it meant though and at first said he might be wrong. Will have to show him this and say sorry he was right !

Wasn't there a political cartoonist who always hid a mouse somewhere in his picture?

I didn't know that, it's very interesting & I'll look out for it in the films now.

He did & even a small ash tray costs a fortune now. Wish I had something buy Mouseman.

On single records sometimes there was a cryptic message scratched on the inner plain area in a circle. I found a few.

I find this fascinating.. The fact some muppets have nothing better to do than look for secret codes.

God forbid they find a life

I believe that the `Mac` cartoons in the Daily Mail have the head of his wife hidden in the cartoons. Can't verify this as I've never found one, my mum says she has though.

A customer of mine has a lamp-stand `designed` by Robert Thompson with the mouse halfway up the stem. It cost him a lot of money (more brass na wit) and had a really cheap and nasty brass lampholder at the top which he managed to break. Cost me a whole two pounds to buy another one and some more to fit it for him. Considering that the lamp was nigh on six hundred quid you'd think the build quality would be better.
