I plan on spending the day at Bakewell in Derbyshire with Eliza.
Looking forward to a nice leisurely walk by the river and whatever else we decide to do. I might take Tony a Pie back from the Bakewell Pie shop...

Good morning! Very misty here and humid too!
I'm getting excited about the coming weekend, I'm going to Devon with middle daughter and family.
It's the first time I've been away for about 9 years!
We may go down to the Eden Project on Saturday, I've longed to go there since it opened.

Hot day today, may go into the city, they are showing the new Jungle Book and its supposed to be good.

Im looking forward to this weekend as the Tall ships race is at the Port of Blyth.

Used to love Derbyshire and the Manifold Valley...Many times set out before dawn with son and alsatian Gemma to take pictures before people appeared.

Fording a river near Thors Cave we saw huge pawprints in the mud slowly filling with water...The dogs hackles were on end and she stared and growled at a nearby wood.This was when black panthers were said to have been seen in the area...we didn't hang about.

Bring me a pie back Carol.

Good morning fellow members a beautiful morning here.
I am going to pick beans and distribute them among the neighbours , I have so many this year and can't eat them fast enough . Lost of late raspberries too an unexpected treat.

Good morning all looks like another hot day ahead. It was unbearable trying to sleep last night with the temperature still showing 27C.

Tess, I hope you enjoy your weekend in Devon, my favourite place . I've also always wanted to visit the Eden Project but never got round to it .... hope you take some photos
