Whistling Kettles!

Do you remember kettles on the Stove (not plugged in), that would whistle and blow until you turned the heat off? So frustrating if you were in the middle of something else (like up a ladder polishing the chandelier)

Re: Whistling Kettles!

Ooh! We had a whistling kettle in our apartment in Orlando, our grandchildren were quite amused by it!

I had one years ago; replaced it as it drove me mad!

Re: Whistling Kettles!

I think whistling kettles are back in again - I've seen a red shiny one that I think I might get.

We never had one in our house! My mum hated them and I don't like them now either! There are still kettles around that whistle!
