Brain Teaser - a little more thought!

Imagine yourself driving along a main road on a lovely sunny day. Suddenly you notice some people standing by the side of the road, and you slow down. You discover that the people include your best friend, an ailing old lady and your dream girl.

Now, the ailing lady is seriously ill, and requires immediate medical help. However, this will be your only opportunity of a chance to spend a day with your dream girl, but of course you can't leave your best friend.

So what would you do in order to help the lady to reach the hospital?

Remember, that your car can carry 'ONLY TWO' people (the driver and one passenger).

I was going to say leave best friend behind as he'd understand, have old lady sit on dream girl's lap.
