Ridiculous

We went to our local town yesterday and the Card Factory were setting out their shelves for Christmas cards

What the heck is going on?
Have you noticed any in your local?

Not yet and I hope I dont see any for a good while yet....Its ridiculous!

I dont start to look at anything christmassy properly until December onwards.
The shops always use the same old excuse saying that its what their customers want,but everyone you ask says its bull***t.....so someone must be buying them.

a signal that the summer is over and get your Christmas trees out

Same as I went into a shop last week to try and get a cardigan, and half the shop was full of winter clothing all ready. All the pretty, sunny colours in half the shop, and then the horrible dull, drab greys and blacks in the rest.
I haven't spotted any Christmas cards yet, but I haven't really looked either.

I haven't seen any Christmas cards on sale yet but I did buy two 2017 diaries in Devon last week

As we will be in New Zealand for most of December, our family Christmas will be a little early this year. Yes there cards in lots of the shops locally. Crazy!
