Good morning everyone, a little overcast here but warm and dry so no complaints.

We have a family gathering of 25 here today for a buffet lunch to celebrate our oldest son's 40th birthday, so just awaiting the Tesco delivery to supplement the food that we've been preparing over the last few days...... looks like being a busy morning...

I've got the washing machine going with the bed linen I took off yesterday. Might phone Boots opticians to see if my spare glasses are in yet (was promised a phone call yesterday). That would mean a couple of hours out of my day but, hey ho. Must crack on with some packing, so will be getting the case out today.

Good morning all.
The usual Sunday for us - morning in the garden - pub lunch & afternoon stroll.

Ady & his family are coming to tea so I'm making trifle and baking a few cakes. They're bringing along Kelly - the granddaughter we didn't know we'd got until she was 15 yrs old. She's 20 now and mother to a cute little toddler. It will be nice to see them all together...

buenas dias all. The usual weather here, hot and sunny. No particular plans, just pottering around at home. We ventured beachside last night to a restaurant, what a nightmare, too much traffic, tourists in abundance, cars blocking other cars in, kids screaming and having tantrums in all directions, parents mostly ignoring them, too busy on their phones. We won´t be venturing beachside again, or anywhere near the "tourist areas" until September. Have a lovely day all.

Good morning fellow members dull here at the moment.
I worked late into the evening in the garden yesterday while it was cool , I have two bin loads of cuttings to drive to the tip this morning while it is open.

Reminds me, I should be taking stuff to the tip...tins of old paint already in the boot. And to rebag the bags of weeds I seem to stockpiling down the allotment. Might do that today.

Got the case out, chucked a few bits in, and will finish off Tuesday PM, together with the backpack.
