New lens hood

This was for my Panasonic HC-X900M camcorder with a 0.49 mm thread. What a difference to the original which kept falling off until I lost it. This one is metal instead of cheap plastic and a lot better.

I just can't understand why companies like Panasonic produce a good product (which is not cheap) then ruin it with a cheap nasty PLASTIC accessory.

Can be expensive to replace as well.

When i bought my expensive scope, i lost the lens cover first day. I put this down to carelessness on my behalf. Turns out later it was because of a manufacturing default. Too give Swarofski credit in time they replaced them all to those that asked free of charge.

A friend had to pay £100 to replace his lost camera lens cover.
