Pedant corner

I went to get some new specs the other day and was told the adaption to the new lenses may take a couple of days. I looked up a film I was thinking about recording and was told it was an adaption from a certain book.

I remember year two at University-if anyone says adaption when we mean adaptation I will get cross.
