Thieving b***ers

When I got back from town this morning, there was a policemen just walking away from my bungalow.

I got out of my car and went over to him and asked what was wrong, and he said he was putting notes through the doors to ask if anyone had seen anything amiss.
The big posh houses behind me have enormous gardens and apparently one family came back from a few days away and discovered someone had got into their garden and nicked loads of vegetables and fruit - even picked all the apples off the trees!

What a damn shame after the family's hard work growing these things. Rotten thieves will take anything it seems.

That's what I thought too Julie, they can only have been half grown at best surely.

They must have been hungry Mups , and not looking to steal from the house which would have been more worrying .

I'm sure a big house with big gardens would have a shed and a family home some toys, garden furniture, tools etc.

Not your common thief me thinks.

The most surprising is police putting leaflets through doors and a complete waste of valuable resources

Yes it is Aysa. I've seen warnings in my gardening magazine that it's happening at allotments too.

Jazzi - be warned! Watch your allotment.

Re: Thieving b***ers

How odd, the apples won't be ripe yet sounds like children.

There have been a lot of thefts of tools from garages around here recently, someone must know which houses to choose

Thieves also broke into the secure site where my sons house is being built using bolt cutters on the padlock. They then broke into the builders cabin and stole £6000 of power tools the builder said it could have been worse they could have stolen the JCB .
