Good morning Thursday
Good morning all, a bright start here but definitely cooler, and rain forecast for this afternoon I believe.
A gas leak was discovered in the road outside of our house yesterday, so it was complete mayhem for a while and we are expecting another day of hammering and machinery noise again today, although they did give us some peace overnight thank goodness.

Good morning all. Our window cleaner woke me up at 7.15 so I thought I may as well get up.Just looked at the weather forecast for here and it seems we're going to have some rain at last.
My day out walking in the peaks is cancelled then - it looks like my friend & I will be going to the gym..

buenas dias all. Hot and sunny, no change there. According to the electronic fan/thermometer in here it is already 29C, we have been warned to expect up to 40C today. I have to make a trip to the bank, which I´m not looking forward to, it will be horrendously busy and I´m fairly sure it will be a long slow queue. Have a nice day all.28-07-2016, 09:24 AM

Since registering my attendance this morning I have phoned Virgin Media and cancelled my bedroom tv package. Entirely! Their Catch Up service is very limited, and I can get more and more from my lounge tv's Sky. Or even from the internet.And I feel they ripped off customers by sneaking in another price increase. Sky have too, but at least I use it every day. I very rarely use the bedroom tv and when I do, promptly fall asleep! I shall get an AV sender to send the Sky's signal to the bedroom tv. No more trailing cables. And £31/m better off. (It can pay for Sky's further increases, lol.)
