Re: Good morning Tuesday
Thanks to everyone by the way for your good wishes regarding my hip replacement which in truth I have needed for awhile. I am pretty comfortable after the operation last Friday other than for soreness and aching which will all pass I'm sure, but actually it's the frustration of immobility which I'm finding the hardest thing to deal with. Only short term I know, and resting with feet raised is the recommendation for best recovery but that is anathema to me, normally I would sit down occasionally for a rest, but now I get up and hobble around on my crutches to give myself a break and something to do, and don't get me started on having to sleep on my back.....grrrr .....Re: Good morning Tuesday
Good morning all. A nice relaxing day for me today after the hectic time with the grandkids yesterday.Re: Good morning Tuesday
"Barry I do feel for you. I have been laid up with broken bones quite a few times. It might break the monotony for you a bit if your Mrs could drive you out somewhere - take folding chairs and admire some beautiful scenery. Tony used to take me to sit by one of our local lakes - it helped pass the day on."
