Text messages

I've just deleted almost 5,000 text massages from my mobile phone. I had to do it - new messages weren't coming in in the right order.

That feels better now but I can't help wondering if there's some I ought to have kept..

Not much, possibly ten a month, makes my free thousands look rather like over kill.

I receive possibly twice that many but don't feel the need to answer I mean what can you say when someone is going to be so late to work they have turned round to go home and leaving you to cover for them ? Needs a sarcastic smiley for my answer to that.

I know what you mean, any excuse to get out of doing any work!
I use texts sometimes as you don't have to rely on the recipient being able to answer the phone at that particular time and you can arrange a suitable time to call later. I normally delete all texts within a day or so of receiving them.

I text a lot . Strange how easy it is to forget how on earth did we cope without mobile phones .

Modern phones are strange aren't they? You keep adding texts to previous ones in a running conversation if you aren't careful.

I have one of the old gas powered phones and can only get about twenty messages before I have to delete them to make space for more.

Like Rhian, l use Whatsapp a lot too!

These days, l 'speak' my texts as it's much easier than using my fingers! It does type a lot of stuff l didn't say at all!!
