Going without gadgets
I read today, that Bruce Fogle has issued a challenge to children to go without any electronic device for a whole day this weekend.A survey was carried out that found youngsters cannot go gadget-less for longer than 2 hours.
Almost 90% of 8 - 15 year olds admitted they would struggle to get through a single day without at least one electrical device.
Television was the hardest to resist - with 42% insisting they would not want to give up.
Mr. Fogle urges kids to take part in this experiment to reconnect with the natural world and spend time with family and friends.
Would you be able to do this easily, do you think?
That is true Carol. You'd have to have sandwiches I suppose.
