The writing is on the wall

Not a fan myself but doesn't make it wrong, the fad of decorative slogans written on bedroom and living room walls.

Live love laugh being fairly typical.

Alternative being die miserable I guess doesn't sound quite so uplifting.

So are you a fan ? Have you got writing on your walls or are you slightly bemused by the trend like me ?

Re: The writing is on the wall

I have a couple of "boards" (gifts from friends) on my kitchen wall, not really my "thing" but they have to be there as I donīt want to offend the friends who bought them for me, and who call in most days. One reads "good friends are like stars, you donīt always see them but you know they are there". The other I like, it reads "my husband and I run a workshop, he works, I shop". The friend who bought it thought it very appropriate

I can see the sense in boards I have a couple of signs myself house is not a home without a chihuahua and home only place there is more hair on the sofa than stuck on the dog.

It's the decorative writing right on the wall huge letters, reminds me of graffiti

My Finnish friend is fond of that kind of thing, but she uses stick on letters, she is very fond of the phrase "carpe diem", has it in huge letters on one wall and also has it tattooed on her arm.

I'm sure it looks better than some I've seen, I think some do it to be different then can't think of anything different to say, live life love being the generic thing they all have up there on the wall.

Nah, don't think writing on walls is really my sort of thing.

I aren't a fan of them, and I can't use fridge magnets as all appliances are behind wood!

I must be really boring
