Whatever Happened To Jumble Sales?

You never hear of them now, l wonder why?
Did you ever go to them? Do you have a tale to tell about them?
I remember most years my children would come home from the school jumble sale with massive bags of toys that were being sold off for 5p a bag.
As if we didn't have enough toys in the house!

People got mobile and got cars, they now go to Car Boot sales, out in the open, so they smell less, everyone's a winner.
