My only 'smart- wear' is my wedding suit. It used to be my birthday suit but it's looking a bit worn these days.

Mainly evenings but have also worn it at the office a couple of times.

I avoid 'posh doos' whenever possible

I have a few things from pre retirement days I can bring out if need be including a grey suit with a full length straight skirt which has a split up the back .
One of the girls I looked after gave me a leaving gift of a Louis Vuitton cashmere pashmina (her uncle owns a well-known store in Knightsbridge) which I wheel out if I really want to impress.
I tried to sell it on Ebay but they wouldn't let me saying it might be a fake .
