Sunny and pleasant here after yesterday's dank gloom, 27 C (81 F), not humid, but more of those Godawful t'storms coming this afternoon with straight line winds and drenching rain; praying no power loss! If I vanish you'll know why. We've had a rash of very powerful storms this season, far more than normal.

Hopefully this hot day today at 95F will end our heat wave. I actually got warm yesterday on my 200 mile ride.

I just completed a 5 mile grocery run on the scooter. That was a mistake. Traffic was worse than usual and it's sweltering outside. I turned the air on the second I got home.

When you're not used to it, you do feel it. I do my errands in the morning before it gets hot, then can relax on the porch in the shade later. Don't like A/C, don't have it. Stay cool, Bob!
