Do you know when to Bow Out, if you don't have all the information, is it best to Bow Out, sooner than later?

But show me the man or woman who indeed has all the information .. as opposed to the man or woman who thinks they have all the information.
And should everyone else, feeling inferior, bow out until only he or she remains, he or she then become the main fount of all information and knowledge, such as that information is worth...or is worthless.

We can rarely have all the information - except perhaps about our own feelings and immediate family affairs.

Beyond that, it is best to ensure that one has as much info as possible before launching forth.
Once or twice I have failed to do that here and have rightly been held to account.

That is quite different though than having someone respond with an alternate view but even less evidence -
expecting, demanding, that their position must prevail. Because they say so.

It would be very boring for the "know it alls" if the less informed gave them nothing to crow about.
