Grrr, what a start to the day.

Hi

I am away from home at the minute.

Supposed to be resting and recovering.

I am not in the best of health at the moment

I am what some would consider a male chauvinist.

I am intelligent, articulate and well capable of looking after myself.

I am not, I believe that we are all equal, physical strength is not part of the equation.

I avoid violence wherever possible.

I have witnessed this morning a man hitting his kid and then battering his partner.

A bull of a man, halve my age, much bigger and stronger than me or his victims.

A man who is prepared to send his six year old daughter flying sideways with a slap.

A man who is prepared to to kick his wife in the stomach.

I despair, I genuinely do.

These males are an absolute disgrace.

I took great exception to his actions.

I am now faced with a day of justifying my response.

A response which is no different to any other Father and Husband.

I just think that it is so so sad because I won and he lost that I am presumed to be the aggressor.

Would I do it again?

Yep.

There is no place into today's Society that the strongest win

That is Anarchy, it has no place in our lives..

Well done for defending the defenseless, Swimmy, you are obviously a gentleman - a dying breed, I fear! I hope the repercussions are not too severe. Take care of yourself.

Good for you but I'm wondering how could you win a man bigger & stronger than yourself?

What did you do?

Hi

I am an Enforcement Officer for 40 years.

No point in having an Enforcement Officer who backs down at the first threat.

I am who I am, I do not like violence in any shape or form.

You can call me all the names under the Sun and I will not retaliate, I will walk away.

However, when violence is threatened or used against the innocent or weaker, I will respond.

I am good at my job.

I will not not back down when it is required. however much I would prefer to avoid it.

I much prefer to talk people out of it, but I am who I am.

There is a line that cannot be crossed.

I am not special in any way, shape or form.

Just a man who has been trained to defend the innocent.

There are thousands like me in the UK.

It sometimes seems to me that one way or another the courts and the justice system often support the criminals and the guilty.

Examples such as yours; lenient sentences that only serve to encourage re-offending are often heard of; prisoners' rights; early release; weekend release; cautions; out on bail. Only this week I remember reading a report of a criminal who was let out very early from his already short sentence and almost immediately attacked someone.

I'm fed up with saying it, but why can't the powers-that-be see what I can see: longer prison sentences in establishments where every comfort is provided f.o.c.; corporal punishment; capital punishment. All of these would discourage crime but, no, let's carry on the way we are and moan about all the nasty people out there who seem to get away with what they do.

Well done Swim.

The brain is a wonderful organ and you use yours on a regular basis. We filter all information in and filter out useless information then act on a sensible solution

No place for bullies in this world.

Well done.

Hi

Forget that Eliza.

There is a world of difference between Martial Arts and close combat.

It is incredibly easy to kill someone with a single blow.

There is a World of difference between that and disabling someone with a finger.

It is not a matter of strength, but a matter of technique and timing.

It takes many hours of training just to have the capability of not panicking in the face of aggression.

I am not brave, I am not Tpin and his mates, there is no way I would charge a machine gun post.

I hold them in awe, far better people than I could ever be.

I am a much more a sneak up behind them and capture them sort of person.

Pig ignorant bullies like the one I dealt with this morning are idiots.

They do not stand a chance against trained individuals.

The problem is the professionals.

Fortunately, ISIS are not professionals. whilst I have respect for their Scientists, their troops are useless, just bullies who run away when challenged.

They rely on terror as a weapon, which, when push comes to shove, is no weapon at all.

Put the professionals in, on the ground and ISIS are lost.

The backers and scientists will take much longer to get rid of, but we can do it.
