Yes I did. It was taken from quite a distance with a 600mm lens. I had to enlist the help of my wife to get the shot - the stag was laying down in the grass and I had to get my wife to stand behind me and jump up and down a bit to arouse his interest and stand up and took the shot the moment he looked directly at me.

Beautiful looking animals.

My Scottish friend had her car written off by a big stag not long ago.
Luckily she was alright herself, but the stag ran straight across in front of her car in the highlands and she hit him.
