I can't take any more!!

We had endless pre-referendum dirty campaigning. We had the referendum. We have endless post-referendum discussion/dissection/argument. And now we've got the blinkin' leadership contest.

It was interesting for a while but I can't take any more!! I want an entire news programme focussing on all those lovely 'and finally' moments we used to have. I want a feel good factor. I want calm and harmony.

Ok, realistically it ain't happening any time soon. So maybe I'll just have to escape the country for a while...

I keep thinking it'll calm down tomorrow but no someone else pops up to have a pop at the leavers or another person stabs someone else in the back. It's certainly opened my eyes to how horrible people can be, are even.

I am very much speaking through gritted teeth when I post. It is becoming thoroughly boring and monotonous. Old people are supposed to have hobbies. My grandsons spend less time on their tablets.

Let's all go hug something rather than our tablets.
