Another lovely Summer morning: 28 C(84 F), sunny and a nice breeze. To the Safeway supermarket for things Whole Foods doesn't carry, then home to just potter. I should be in the garden but cannot find my pruning shears...

Evening all.....had a 'different' day today-was asked if I could help out at the Vets for a few hours as no staff in office. Course I said yes as it was a one-off and went down 10am-2pm taking the Hatti girl and Sam with me. Really enjoyed those few hours, but when I got home realised I enjoyed retirement more! Had a quick cuppa and then went on lovely walk in the sunshine with the dogs........

LOL, I did that once, merz! I'd been retired for about a year, and the office manager called me to say they were in a real bind and could I come in just for the day. So did, it was OK but I definitely prefer retirement!

I think we should take it as a compliment Dandysmom, that they contacted us.....or do they know we are just a 'soft touch'
