Birthday Gift Ideas PLEASE

This is a serious question, so here goes:

My husband will be 70 at Christmas and I haven't a clue what to buy him. I want it to be something special, money's not an issue but as he said himself, he needs and wants nothing that he can't buy himself. To complicate things, he:

hates any sport
doesn't want any "experience" days like parachute jumps
Has more shoes and clothes than me
Likewise gold watches or chains
Nothing for his car
has plenty of music, books, tekkie devices, laptops and so on

In the past I've bought him some pretty unusual gifts like a Vickers machine gun (yes, really), A German pickelhaube and one year I got him Oliver Cromwell's death mask, so Amazon isn't going to cut it any more.

HELP! The stress is already getting to me.

Has he got a shed?

My kids gave their dad a personalised engraved slate door sign for his shed

The shed sign might work. He's not a gardener but he does have a smart newish shed. Keep them coming, please.

You could always buy him his own star, one he could name himself. We've done this on a few occasions and the recipients have always been happy.

Is he an animal lover, to consider sponsoring an animal somewhere? Monkey World encourage it, wildlife parks do, and I'm sure even London Zoo does.

Or a subscription to somewhere? The National Trust, maybe? Take out a joint sub and both go off to visit their places?

I do sketches of people...
I've done pets too actually
As long as I had a good photo to work from
You could then get a frame for it

I'm not touting for business because I don't charge!

Re: Birthday Gift Ideas PLEASE

A title.
As in Sir or Lord.
Theyre great for getting bookings in busy restaurants, best theatre seats and free upgrades on travel(plane, ship etc).
The changes in attitude and service when people see or hear Sir or Lord are hilarious.
My uncle bought one in the 70's and the benefits he received were fantastic
Sir Douglas Franks had a great ring to it
They're great fun.

Ps. He was not Sir Douglas Franks QC
He was Sir Douglas Franks, aircraft sprayer from Disley.

Edit: just spoke to my mum, it was a Lordship he bought.
3 sq feet of land in Cornwall.
