Ever seen a bricklayer cry?

I'm about to....I think.

Just had a call from my youngest bricklayer(25)apologising for dropping my expensive De Walt drill down the chimney.

As I explained it was here, in my house, I could hear a voice in the background, a hush followed by "oh s***, gotta go"

The only other person I can think of, with a De Walt, is the joiner. A 6' 4" Dane with hands like JCB's

So what was he doing with an electric drill on top of the chimney when the accident occurred ?
And....furthermore how will you retrieve it ? You can't leave it there can you ?

Cordless drill.
We were asked by the client to erect a Ham Radio mast/aerial.
I told him to sort it with the lads as I don't do extras like that.
We(he)!will have to try magnets or he'll have to open it up and repair on his time.

Very tricky....that could take a lot of time and work out very expensive for someone.

Re: Ever seen a bricklayer cry?

Can I ask where you get your bricks from? And new brickies should not be afraid of frogs. Guess who was dragged up within sight and smell of a huge brickyard? Ever heard of Stewartby and Marston Valley?
