Women!!

Do they have any sense of time?

Jenny said she would go out and get me a few cigars and a bottle of wine in "5 minutes" and that was half an hour ago.

I want her out of the house while I look for places we might go for our 25th Wedding Anniversary.

Just because she cannot eat or drink is no reason for me not to find a self catering place.

She probably thought she'd do a spot of window shopping! Gawd I remember how long my sisters and mum used to take shopping - forever!

Did I misread this, OG? I thought you wanted her out so you could search for sites and that she said she'd go 5 minutes ago and is still there ... frustrating your search. "5 minutes" is flexible, depends on how urgent the errand is. And maybe she senses you're up to something that you don't want her to know about..... women's intuition .

FIVE MINUTES
This is half an hour. It is equivalent to the five minutes that your football game is going to last before you take out the trash, so it's an even trade.

This is only a guesstimate OG, who knows what women think when they go to the shops.

Did you not know? time expands for women! it has to - to fit in with all the things we need to do in one day!! PS I wouldn't go for cigars in a hurry either (Yes I think they stink!!) lol
