Mobile phones.......lifesavers to say the least.

I recently converted one of my reception rooms into a bedroom with ensuite wet room(drive-in shower/wc/sink)large enough for my mum's wheelchair.

As she'll be home soon I'm finishing off the decorating of newly plastered walls. I also fitted a large sliding door so as not to intrude on her bedroom space.

Well, I needed the loo so used the facilities I'd created.
Whilst sat, contemplating my future(you get my meaning?)
I became aware of a sliding/scraping noise that lasted all but a few seconds.

Upon completing my contemplations I proceeded to the job in hand(decorating).....bugger, the sliding door was jammed. No matter how much force I used it was stuck solid.

Luckily I had my mobile in my pocket and my son is off work and at home.

Bloomin step ladders had fallen, sliding along the wall and wedged the door shut.

Thank you Lord for giving some bods enough intelligence to invent the mobile phone.

Phewwww.

Yes Doc.

Greggs best ham salad.
It was also a lifesaver, I'd have possibly starved without it.

Can I ask. Why did you use your mum's toilet and not your own? I bet you left the lid up too

Testing it

As I was decorating the bedroom, why not take advantage of its close proximity?

Nope, I never leave the lid up.
I'm a gentleman.
