red spider mites

the window cills and outside walls have loads of these crawling around,also its bad in the village as well,
no bigger than a pin head,if you squash them on your upvc windows,you cant get the stain off,,antone else being invaded

Are they attacking your plants?
My grandad used to swear by organic destruction of these pests.

Find the source and spray with a solution of water and habanero peppers.
Chop up peppers and simmer in the water for half an hour and spray plants once cooled.

Ive been spraying mine with Fly spray this week , the wall as well below the window ..

they are not on the plants under the window,,,soon as sun comes out they appear on the walls and windows grrrr

Haven't had any yet Doc but have other years .
I wash them off the window sills with the watering can (and a bit of fairy liquid) .
