H&S report on our scaffold collapse.

Some months ago we had a scaffold collapse on site.
One of my employees was slightly injured.

I have just received the H&S report into the incident and we, as a company, have been cleared of all blame.

I knew we weren't to blame for this dodgey erection(oh how I was tempted to include this in the title)and the scaffold company were at fault but, seeing it in writing is such a relief.

One less worry.

Yes, there were 2 clips, holding the tie-bars in place that were defective.

Also loose clips in 3 areas around the main collapse.

2 upright sections were placed on pieces of wood which sank into the soft ground.

You must be very relieved Tpin, I'm glad for you. We can all do without these extra worries.

How's the dog's cough now, has he been for his tests yet?

Let's hope it was something else then. Do you give him cooked bones? They splinter, so you don't want him to get hold of those. Just a thought. Good luck anyway.

No, no cooked bones.
Nor have I cooked a Sunday lunch, for a while, so he's not sneaked any out of the bin.

Sounds like someone is at fault then.
