Total waste of NHS money?

This was erected at a cost of £8000 about 3 months ago and I've not seen a single bike in it.

Staff tell me no one that works there comes to work on a bike.

I suppose it MAY encourage some to START using a bike. .. possibly. .. maybe. ..

If the recent good weather didn't I don't know what will.

If it's not successful they could always use it as a smoking shelter

I expect they had to build the shelter to comply with some silly planning rule just as my son has to build a shelter for 6 bicycles within the curtilage of his dwelling

Prior to the first occupation of the dwelling hereby approved secure parking for 6 cycles to comply with
the Council’s standards shall be provided within the curtilage of each dwelling and these facilities shall
thereafter be retained for the parking of cycles only.
REASON: To comply with the Council’s parking standards
Not sure why the shelter cost £8,000 thought, does it come with gold-plated bicycles..
