Enormous ditch !

Came past the local green/tennis court and the council have dug the most enormous ditch ! I guess that will stop the caravans getting back on there but it looks awful, think the gypsy caravans looked tidier

Don't worry. I'm sure the Council will soon have to build a nice bridge over the ditch to give them access.

Never a good idea for Woking council to get involved with bridges when they had to build one for pedestrians to access the town crossing main road they built it backwards, completely unusable. Took them couple of years to admit the mistake and several more to turn it around

You start in the middle and build towards the outside.

It was supposed to link the market which is between two main roads to the town centre but the entrance to it was backwards so you had to cross one road to get to it and the other end instead of delivering you into the town centre sent you off up the road further so you had to walk all the way back. If they had put it right way round would have saved lives and traffic congestion but they ended up having to put traffic lights and a crossing as no one wanted to use it.

Ours did the same at a local beauty spot on both sides of the road. The Gypsies came along, filled them in to get their caravans on to the verges for the summer. Crap everywhere, burglary went up and when they departed left a bomb site.
