Its sunny and warm here, rain is forecast this afternoon! Dogs are walked, I will be getting ready for work this afternoon soon.

Hi all. What a difference a day makes: yesterday at this time it was 30 C, today it's 23 (73 F) with brilliant sunshine, low humidity and a rather brisk breeze. The t'storm yesterday was just garden variety with a lot of needed rain (.70"), but ushered in a cool front. Sometime in the night I pulled up the sheet, first time I've slept covered in weeks; it was actually a bit chilly. Been to the market and just pottering.

Afternoon all-a day of decision here. Jenny has been in tears for a couple of days since her last trip to hospital.

Addenbrooke`s have been mostly wonderful since she got cancer but she has no faith in a particular surgeon who has twice cancelled her op.

We are digging in our heels-we want a consultant to do the throat stretching,and if we have to wait another three weeks so be it.

It`s the difference between being able to swallow again or probably being with a PEG forever

Oh dear! I don't know how your National Health works, but surely if you insist you can get a consultant that you have confidence in, can't you?

Good evening all-hope you've had a good day. Household chores this morning, then walking. After dinner went to do big shop-usually do that on a Saturday, but Hatti's best friend, Sam, is arriving tomorrow morning for two weeks. Brother and family going to South of France on holiday. Then it was off for another stroll-just made it back in time before it lashed it down with rain!

So you'll have Sam to walk too, then? Do they walk on leash or free? Bet Hatti will be pleased at the company!

Yes, I'll be taking them both walking Dandysmom. Put them both in the car and in 10 mins. they'll be out running free

There are some lovely walks near to where I live, woodlands and country parks. Very rare I walk them on leash, except if I cut across farmland, which is not very often. Besides that I find it difficult because Hatti is raring to go and Sam is more of a 'Mr. Plod' and drags behind Sam is no trouble at all and they both get on really well together.
