Rechargable battery.

What do you do the rechargeable battery if you know an item isn't going to be used for a few months?
Do you take the battery out or leave it in?

Depends on the battery type but as a general rule take them out. Corrosion can do untold damage.

Funny you should ask that Carol, I took the batteries out of the DVD player remote again today.

I always take them out as I rarely sit and watch DVDs at the mo, but my daughter was here today and we watched a DVD.

So the batteries are out again now
