Teapot?

Do you still use one?
Or do you put the tea bag straight into the cup?
We still use a teapot...Perhaps we are a dying breed...

Re: Teapot?

Being as it is usually only me here, I just stick a tea bag in my cup. But how I hate it if I forget to take it out again and it slides up against my lips half way down the cup! 'Orrible!
Would use a pot if there were more people though.

Re: Teapot?

Tea tastes so much better when it's made in a teapot

Re: Teapot?

You're not snobs!
You just have more quality time on your hands.

I'm a bag dunker ...
If I get a moment in a day!

Funnily enough a friend of mine accused me of being a snob this week when I used separate tea bags in each cup!

Re: Teapot?

I have a teapot for every occasion.

A stainless steel one I use everyday for just myself, a china one when I have visitors and a large aluminium one for more than four people. The other aluminium one in this pic is a relic from days gone by.

One of the ladies at my seniors club knitted me tea cosys for all of them.

Oh yes... and I use leaf tea not bloody teabags!

Re: Teapot?

I only use a tea pot when drinking tea from tea leaves without tea bags.
Or when I am having a tea party with friends or guests.
