Growing up !

At the weekend we were walking and chatting and I said oh look fairy door, bottom of trunk looked like a door, only to not hear oohing and ahhing from grace but a whispered aside to Steven asking if Nan really believes that because shouldn't some one tell her there are no fairies

Bit sad at that our last one growing out of fairies and goblins, still had to happen I guess !

Our eldest girl worked out for herself by the age of three that Santa was really her parents. She said it wasn't possible for him give every child presents in one night. Our eldest grandson was about two when he realised there was no Santa.

I still believe there's a bearded gentleman out there, wanting to sit me on his knee and shower me with gifts!
Sad to hear kids are missing out on make believe.

I was gutted when I discovered there was no Santa at the age of eight. I think I would prefer not been told the myth in the first place.

I took this photo of a Fairy House or maybe it was Elves that lived there .

I had religion forced down my throat as a kid. I am so very glad I realised it had no substance to it when I was a teenager.
