Good morning Thursday

Good morning everyone, still overcast here with a strong northerly wind, it's hardly flaming June...

We have the tiler coming in today to tile the bathroom floor, I removed the toilet and vanity unit yesterday so I can keep well out of the way today in the kitchen whilst cooking fish pie for lunch.

buenas dias all. I was awake earlier than usual this morning, already the sky is blue and the sun out, another hot day in store for us I suppose. We were out with friends last night at a Chinese restaurant we often go to, the usual free drink on arrival, schnapps, brandy or baileys after the 3 course , meal, the men had 3 brandies each, the ladies had baileys, not me, I had coffee, plus Mr Clumsy had a large beer with his meal, the other two men shared a bottle of red wine, two ladies shared a bottle of Rose and I had water. The cost for 6 of us was E37. Have a pleasant day all.

Morning all, was up very early 3.30am had to get our lass ready and take her to Stanstead she is off to a wedding in Italy for 4 days. Was not amused at Stanstead £3 charge to drop off and drive out they are creaming in the money at these big airports these days, can't beat Southend at the moment. I suppose they have to find ways to pay for the extra security although there was none about that I saw. The layby was empty where they normally pull over and check the cars.
Well I walked the dog around the lakes may I say that the winds have calmed a little and it may actually turn out warmer later. I certainly hope so because I am going stir crazy sitting about these last 3 days.

Good morning folks.
Chilly, windy and grey outside.

Went to run some water in the bathroom basin just now and its one of those silly plunger things that work the plug hole, and it's just broken. The plug stays in the hole and you can't get it out again, just had to use a knife blade to slide down the side of the plug and lift it.
Is that a plumbers job to mend, or can I do it easily? Anyone know please?
