Bad news today
Been to the hospital eye clinic and the forecast is I will be going blind in one eye sometime in the near future and the other eye has the start of a cataract and may need laser surgery as well. Obviously I feel down in the dumps at the moment with the news. Yes I have been attending the eye clinic for some time but this news has hit me more than the other times

HiAlways bad to get news like that.
I have only had 5% vision in my right eye since 1990, too badly scarred to be operated on.
You can still drive with one eye and loads of exercises you can do to maintain depth of view.
If it is only a cataract in your good eye, easily fixed.
I know it is difficult when the first tell you, but being positive is the most important thing.
at least the cataract is treatable.

Keep your chin up Realspeed, Mrs Fox has just had cataracts removed from both eyes (not at the same time though I might add) and after a lifetime of wearing spectacles for short sightedness she can see perfectly well without her glasses now. Good luck with yours Realspeed hope it comes out well.|
