Fireworks

Now here's an idea I would happily subscribe to - restricting fireworks to 4 days per year.

How about you?

Re: Fireworks

It's good but I would ban them altogether from sale to the general public.

I agree. They have some level of similarity to firearms and can be very dangerous in the wrong hands.

Re: Fireworks

Me too, but I can't see it ever happening. The suggested restriction might be a reasonable compromise and could even be the first step towards total ban?

That would be great, we get a lot of fireworks around here.

Re: Fireworks

If they'd ban the noisy ones altogether things wouldn't be as bad, I don't see the enjoyment in loud "explosive" type fireworks.

Re: Fireworks

I think they should be restricted to organised displays only and not sold to the general public. My son was a greater London firefighter for thirty two years and I know he would go along with that view too.

Re: Fireworks

My dog isn't affected by them, he's the opposite he wants to get outside to see what the noise is about!

but I'd ban them altogether!

Re: Fireworks

Hi

I love fireworks.

We have a fantastic display here every year at the Shrewsbury Flower Show.

I would hate to see them banned.
