Tom Hanks - Desert Island Discs

Just a heads-up that Tom Hanks is the guest on the first of a new season of D-I D this morning. 11.15 Radio 4, repeated at 9 on Friday morning and available on iPlayer any time.

I'm anticipating that he will be a splendid castaway (having played one!). He's certainly a great actor. Bridge of Spies, which I saw recently, was a triumph (for him and Mark Rylance)

I do enjoy DID, always seems a good way too find more about the person taking part as they seem more relaxed.

Really dissapointed cannot get iPlayer here but will be interested to hear comments. I imagine will be a good show
