Ludlow

I had a Coach trip to Ludlow yesterday, and fell in love with the town , With its Tudor House's and shop fronts and quaint streets , a ruined Castle which cost under a fiver to get in and a River to sit next too .
Here are just a few of the photos I took .

Re: Ludlow

Ive been looking on Rightmove today , and at holiday lets .
Others on the Coach also wanted to move there and looking in Estate agents .
So nice to see a town left alone and not taken over by new builds .
Talking to a local , she said the Town Council was very strict and shops had to be individual .
How it should be , I think .

Re: Ludlow

While I was working as an appliance surveyor during the Natural Gas conversion project, the team I was with stayed at the Wheatsheaf for several weeks:

The place may look "cosy" but it was riddled with sexual intrigues at the time .....

Much of "Blott on the Landscape" was filmed in and around Ludlow .....

Angel Hotel, Broad St.Ludlow. Production: 'Blott on the Landscape' circa 1985.

Looks nice. Not a place I've ever been to, or thought of.

Re: Ludlow

My brother and sister in law have lived in Ludlow for about 20 years. They have an Edwardian semi, a ten minute walk from the market square.

So I've got to know the town quite well!

A word of warning for anyone thinking of visiting: Ludlow is NOT wheelchair friendly, we really struggled taking Mum round.
