My new carpets

I have an IKEA rug down in both rooms, but they do crumple up!

And in the bedroom. That isn't dirt smudges on the light grey but just how the pile is facing.

Re: My new carpets

I've no idea what age you are, but in my opinion loose mats .. plus trailing cable (as in the bedroom pic) really can be a recipe for disaster.
Do be careful.

Re: My new carpets

Jazzi when I had some new carpets fitted last year in the hall I had a piece of the same carpet bound to make a rug . I also bought some white stuff on a roll that goes underneath the piece of carpet and stops it moving, it works really well.

Re: My new carpets

Yes Meg, I do have that 'gripper mat' but it's in the cupboard! Ooops.

Anna, I know, I am a disaster waiting to happen. I try to be careful.

Eliza, that's my bedroom! My living room carpet is beige.

Re: My new carpets

Yes Pesta, they feel quite soft as I have thick underlay.

Not finished yet! I have to apply some gloss to my door frame where the fitter somehow managed to pull off chunks! You can see it in one of the photos.

New bed next week, and over bed storage unit sometime in June.
