I've started drawing again!

Got bored, so I dragged out the pastels and thought I'd see if I could still draw. Haven't done any for a long while and was surprised the pastels hadn't crumbled away!
My hands are much stiffer and painful than they used to be but, I enjoyed it!
What do you think?
Shall I put my crayons away again?

Very very good ... I like it. If you can draw like that it'd be a crime to not draw.
What kind of pastels do you use Tess? Oil based or the chalk ones? You've done the blending very well yet still kept the definition.

I think that it shows that you have a real talent, really really good, I am absolutely rubbish at anything like that.

I do however feel that your subject matter does look a trifle undernourished.

Perhaps you should consider feeding it more?

Chalk pastels Morticia, I used to do a lot of life drawing and portraits, now I think death drawings are more fun!
I need lots more practice to get anywhere near good, I can see lots wrong with the picture!

I treated myself to that skull at the bootsale on Sunday, for my birthday!
I have lots of skulls, some wear goggles and top hats!
