Unread Emails

Hi

Are you a fanatic about your emails or are you like me?

I have 8456 unread emails in my Gmail Inbox and 38932 Unread ones in my all mail folder.

Anyone else as lazy as me about sorting these out?

I tend to read and delete. I just keep important ones. Not that many though

Mine get looked and deleted every morning. None of mine are ever important enough to keep.

I always check them because then I can determine what goes right in to the Spam file so it can filter them in future, that way you don't get a huge build up of rubbish.

I open mine whenever they arrive, how else will I ever know how much my distant great uncle left me after dying in an aircrash in Nigeria?

I try to check them every day. I pay a few bills online and keep the notification e-mail for a while. I've also booked some car parks and flights for future holidays so I keep those as well but everything else gets read and acted upon and then deleted. I glance over the the ones in my spam folder to make sure something hasn't been misdirected and then bladder the lot. I always look forward to Over 50's notifications and can't wait to see what people have been saying on the forum. I don't take a newspaper, all reporting is usually biased, so I get my news from here on the forum, in that way I can read what other posters think about the topic and get a more balanced appraisal.

The only email I check daily is work related. The rest are left for weeks. Then I just end up deleting them before I have even read them. My friends will always text me if they have sent an email to make sure I read it before deleting!

If it's any consolation to anyone I've just checked my hotmail account. I've got 946 pages of Inbox!!!
I do delete loads, and I've also got a dozen or so folders that I transfer emails into, Amazon, eBay etc...I daresay the whole lot could be deleted and it wouldn't matter one jot!!

I check my emails regularly and delete as required. Any that look 'a bit you know what', are deleted immediately!!
