Colour Experiment

Tried a little experiment to mix black/white with colour with one of my squirrel pics.

Looks really classy, a bit like the cards at Christmas that are black and white but have one other coloured figure, usually red. They're lovely and just that bit different.
Gorgeous little critters, red squirrels.

Yes I did. Duplicate the basic picture, desaturate the lower image and brush out all the unwanted top image.

Its a beautiful photograph, its a technique used in some movies also, in the opening sequence of Schindlers List the film footage is shot in black and white except for a little girl in a red dress
