St George Day 23rd April

I went into town this morning and my City is preparing for St George day ,The biggest flag is being draped across the Building in the middle of town . And we have a Men on Horse back dressed up as St George .
Does your Town go all out to celebrate St George Day ?

I get the impression that, St Patrick's Day is celebrated more in this country than St George's Day is!!
No one dares to fly the flag any more!

Our nearby town took the flags down a couple of years ago in case they were offending a group of people!

That is so wrong TessA. Here many people fly their country's flag on their properties, no problem, but they must have the Spanish flag flying alongside. That seems fair enough to me.

I no longer make wine but St George`s day is the traditional date to pick dandelion petals.
