Amazing progress for my mum

My mum is in a rehabilitation centre following an accident that left her quadraplegic.

Today the physio gave her a challenge....to brush her own teeth.

He held my mum's elbow for support, my mum raised her hand to her mouth, turned her electric toothbrush on with her thumb and cleaned her teeth.

I had to walk out, the tears wouldn't stop rolling down my cheeks.

I'm so proud of her.

The staff at The Devonshire are wonderful.

It's managing to do things like that which make a world of difference as to how you feel about yourself.
Three cheers for your mum Tpin....

I think that's wonderful.
Who knows what she may be able to do in six months time.

She is one determined lady and deserves all she achieves. I wonder if they will teach her how to give you a clip round the ear before they release her to your care.
I bet her achievements will make you shed a few more tears in the coming weeks.
