Puffins

One of the delights of a visit too The Farne Islands is the close proximity to the Puffins or Tommy Noddys as we call them up here.

Best time to visit is mid June to mid July Landings are permitted on two islands but Inner Farne is the best for Puffins.

Yes, they are beautiful pictures Nom.
I think it's because their eyes appear more sunken in than other birds, they always have a worried expression to me.

Nom, I have worked with a lot of professional photographers and your photos are as good as any I have seen, so why did you never follow a career in photography?
